Rails – remove params from query string?
I’m trying to figure out how to remove parameters from the query string in Rails 3.
I have a page with parameters that can be used to search one page of a site. An example is:
www.example.com/area?area=33&location=33
www.example.com/area?area=24&location=24
www.example.com/area?area=33&location=45
In the above example, I only need to look at “area=33&location=45”, so if the user enters a “a”, I need to remove that parameter from the query string. I’m trying to figure out how to accomplish this, but nothing I’ve tried seems to work. Any suggestions?
